The 3 most important words for worship. . . .
They declare our most central creed. They form our most basic call to worship.

They define God. They define us. They speak of the past and they tell of the future.

They orient us with primacy, supremacy and ultimacy. These 3 words define the first thing and they define the last thing.

As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be.

The 3 words?

You tell me. Take a shot at it. What are they?

Now, what would your worship gathering look like this weekend if they became explicitly central, implicitly core, and foundationally clear? How would you do it?

Go for it.

I'm going to go with:

Father.
Son.
Holy Spirit.

(isn't Holy Spirit two words... making it the 4 most important words?"

Jesus is Lord.

Call me old fashioned, but this basic creed was good enough for the early church, and if we actually understand it and learn to mean these eternal words, they transform our lives beyond all telling.

However - I love the ride and the wisdom and the take you bring us JD. Shine some refreshing light for us my friend!

The three fingers pic hints at E. Stanley Jones' sign for "Jesus is Lord."

But I'm adding "Word became flesh" (V)
