Here is the web page from which the video originally came: http://www.theway.org/index.htm

If you click on "current news" you will see highlights from their seasonal festivals.

Something bothered me about their rhetoric and so I went to the most logical place to look, wikipedia. If that article is correct (and I know we shouldn't trust it too much) then I would hesitate in calling what they do worship and calling them members of the kingdom.

I can't find anything to refute the claims that they are non-trinitarian specifically believing that the Son was created and that the Holy Spirit is just a mode of the Father and to be distinguished from the holy spirit.

It could be an errant article, but something doesn't seem right about the language on their website and the article seems plausible.

i know we are to speak the truth in love, but can we also mock in love - because if anything ever needed to be mocked in love...well, 'nough said.

btw, jd, wasn't this guy voted best "hammer-time" dancer at your high school?

I am NEVER allowing myself to be talked into stage presentation again! Never! Never ever ever!
(Unless I'm teaching, of course.)

thought you'd appreciate this insight:

We sing in worship to engage and express our affections. There is no other reason to sing.
If we aren’t dealing with our affections in worship, we might as well just read the lines of the songs dryly together in paragraph form without any music.

We worship with music to because God has created music with a certain nature where it tends to move our affections deeply.
