A Tribute Poem to my Dad on the occasion of his last harvest as a farmer
My Father’s Last Load

The end of the last harvest
Finally pours out of the truck
Tipped up toward the Heavens
Funneling joy
commingled with
Soybeans
I fight back tears of sadness
As the seed disappears into the ground
unplanted

I have been wondering where FARMstrong had gone, but it seems you have had more important things going on. I will pray for your family! -Morgan

'FARMStrong'
'My Father is the Farmer'
'Seminary, from the latin for seedbed'
'We are entering a season of sowing'
All these are strong, honorable tributes to the influence of your dad on you, always hanging on the tip of the tongue. The things you say alot say alot.
