sometimes i think these new waves in the church need to have similar disclaimers as the commercials for new medications. study, research, prayer, all of that sometimes produces very effective "healing agents" to clearly wounded parts of the church. however, they are either human or they are divinely directed yet in human hands; which means there can easily be side effects. the kind of side effects that begin to tear down and destroy healthy parts of the church in the process of healing broken parts. perhapse it's good that roman catholics are tired of having their faith reduced to a one-issue "political" stance; but if the fix is to say that abortion is okay as long as you think it is okay; ouch. yet whoever brings that up is often labeled as "establishment old school" and against the change that looks so attractive. am i rambling?
