HAPPY BIRTHDAY FARMStrong!! YES Friends, it's hard to believe it but FARMStrong has turned two. You can see how it all got started right here. In that same spirit of higher math-- I offer this two year birthday present. Knowing Much + Thinking Much of yourself = Pride Knowing Little + Thinking Much of yourself = Arrogance Knowing Little + Thinking Little of yourself = Ignorance Knowing Much + Thinking Little of yourself = Humility In other words, I once thought I was humble. Now I'm sure I'm ignorant. How about you? How about a little birthday shoutout comment love for FARMStrong. Tell her what she's meant to you. posted by John David Walt | at 11/30/2006 08:23:00 AM

Huh! That is a cool parallel to consider - between the first and latest post. I can definitely say that FARMstrong is the most aesthetically pleasing of the blogs I read ;)
Happy Day!
Smiles,
ames
Much love to FS. Thanks for the poetry, theology, and Walt clan updates!
Certainly aspire to humility, but more often arrogance or ignorance is the case, unfortunately.
Happy Birthday FARMStrong!
The best place on the web for theology (the christian year never looked so much fun), poetry (still wainting for the farmstrong forty) and humor (how much sand and poo can you fit in a baby diaper?).
FARMStrong... the best thing to come out of Arkansas since Bobble-Head Hillary.
(by the way... i always thought i was ignorant; now i humbly know i am).
Congrats to FARMStrong, what will the terrible 2s have in store for us? Hopefully more photos of the Walt family and poetry by an evangelical United Methodist who loves hanging out at a Roman Catholic Trappist Monastery.
Today is my wife's Birthday too! Wow...that is weird, heh... Yall have a wonderful day and God bless ya! And Thanks FARMStrong...you've inspired me, challenged me, and grown me!
I love Farmstrong! You showed me the blogging way! This blog meant so much to me through my time in Honduras this past summer. I am so thankfull to be able to have it bookmarked and know the author! you're great JD. Now go write some chart toppin' hits...
Wow two years, happy birthday!
Farmstrong was the push i needed to finally join the 'Wilmore Bloggers'! Love yeah, and i hope i can see you and the family before we head back to Texas.

Congrats on 2! Have loved the poetry and theology and who can forget the wonderful time we all had on the Walt Family Vacation, featuring Super Tiff!
Happy Birthday to You!
Your Blog Just Turned Two,
I Love Your Reflections...
And Your Spikey Hair Too!
Glad to see you are still chuggin' along JD :)
Where would I be without a daily dose of JD!
Happy Birthday Farmstrong keep working the fields!
My birthday yesterday (29th) so we're nearly related!
Well, except the date isn't actually the same, and (of course) the year misses by much, much more.
I always love to drop by and be inspired. Keep it coming JD. And thanks today for the picture of Jesus in his suede jacket, it brings back fond Asbury memories!
think...rhyme...love. that's my summary and i'm so grateful for it. in the short time i've visited, i've been mentally challenged (wait...i don't think that came out right) and emotionally moved. i've also started my own blog as a result, so even at the age of 2, farmstrong has children! thanks jd.
btw...the last post reminded me that i went and saw "spamalot" at the fox theater in st. louis for my birthday (nov. 20) and it was awesome!
congrats with the birthday....JD, this blog had so much to do with deciding to come to ATS, so please keep rolling.
OK FARMStrongers. I'm feeling the love--
seriously-- thanks for the encouragement as we begin another crop.
